On Monday in week five we had started 

Doing work with a buddy class on Monday we had to find

out were our buddy class was.We got four clues and then we fond out it was on the north island.We also fond out that it was near Gisborn&Hamilton our teacher's gave us another clue that it was a school that also had mix classics.Like our's Hornby high school,at the end we had gussies of what school it really was they picked other kinds of groups In the end on the second guess someone said St Peters Cambridge and that was correct So now it is Thursday week five.And now I hope we get into more work for this activity.

Tangata Whenua

We have been learning 
this topic for 3 period's so far.What we have been learning about is How the Māori got to NZ?And what did they bring?So we have been watching a video about it.Turns out the Māori came from Hawaiki and for thousands of years they travelled around the little islands including the Solomon islands.Until they built gigantic ships that could hold up to 500 men.Then they found an island our island New Zealand they tried to sail back to there home country but the winds were to strong they said that who or what ever came was stuck there forever then thay called the island NZ.

The baby mammoth

image source This is a photo of a baby mammoth that died years & years ago. This was discovered in 2007. This mammoth is a wooly mammoth the shoulder height of it was 9-11 feet. And it weighed 9 tons. It was found by a dad and his two sons. They called 911 and the mammoth of some kind was taken to a lab. It took 5 scientists to work on it finally they did it all they had to do was carve a tooth out of it. They had to be careful because of one stupid move it would denigrate right away. When they got it out it was over 36000 years ago. Then they told the founder and he nearly passed out. Anyway here is a photo of the baby mammoth.

in history in my opinion that I know of. Sadly Roald Dahl passed away on the 23 November 1990.

When Roald Dahl passed away he was barred with his belongings. Roald Dahl was born in 1916 and he died in 1990 so that means he was 74 when he passed away.
