Dinosaurs

Dinosaurs
In this blog im not talking about lexia,or Mathletics.
This time i have gone to my reading folder and found something about dinosaurs and it asked me things like...What evidence is there that New Zealand had dinosaurs? and What is a fossil and what information do they give us? and lastly Which dinosaur do you think would have survived the best in New Zealand? And here are my answers for this project. 1. Although the evidence is rare,Fossils reveal that there were dinosaurs in new Zealand.Only fragments of bone and a few vertebrae have been found there. 2. Some animals and plant are only known to us as fossils.By studying the fossils record we can tell how long life has existed on earth, and how different plants and animals are related to each other. 3.     For number 3 I think that the Tuatara would live the best in NZ.Plus it is still here living and breathing and it is a dinosaur. Also the Tuatara has lived longer than most dinosaurs the only reason they are still breathing is because they built bowwows also known as bunkers. Here are some facts about the tuatara.
1. The tuatara is native to NZ.
2. Tuatara can live up to 100 years old
3. The Male is much bigger than the Female.

  1. Kia ora Kyle, it is fantastic to see that you are working really hard and posting your learning on your blog, ka pai. Fossils are so interesting aren't they? I wonder what plant and animal fossils can be found around the Canterbury area? You have researched and found a lot of interesting information to include on your blog which is awesome, one thing to think about next time is if you want to include some information please make sure that you write it in your own words. Keep up the great work Kyle!
