How did the Australian bushfires start? The Australian bushfires started by things like lightning strikes, Acts of humans, And climate change,2020 was what we called the hottest and dryest year in Australia. The Australian bushfire lasted for 79 days imagine how many trees and land would have been burned to a crisp. This cost the government of Australia 103 Billion dollars. This took place in Australia but you probably knew that because of its name Australian bushfires. Who did this affect? The Australian bushfires mostly affected the animals like the Koalas, more than 60,000 koalas were lost in the Australian bushfire event.
Did you also know that over 3 billion animals were lost in the bush fire? Rescue teams and wildlife teams tried their best to save people and animals. Also, over 15 million areas were burnt to the ground. All airports were shut down so people in other countries were told that their flight was canceled due to the Australian bushfires so R.I.P. honeymoon. When fire increases it gets hotter.
