Kids Favourite Authors

Today me and my class have made 2 different charts for this Topic and for this Topic we are doing Kids Favourite Authors.And these kids are year 8-6 boys & girls.And for these charts i have used The pie chat and some sort of mesmerising chart  that goes side ways.The top 3 Authors that have been chosen the most is...E.T Auberg,Omar Ryan,and Marina Gilchrist,And the least favourite one was...Francine Scott And the boys least favourite author was Marina Gilchrist And there favourite was E.T Auberg.The girls favorite Author was also like E.T Auberg and there least was Bheka Kaleni.And now with these two graphs i have two chose witch one is better to see and read the pie chart is really good for this topic because it shows percents like 23.2% or 7.2%.The 23.2% is better than the 7.2% so the pie chart would show a bigger piece of pie than the other one.But the Bar chart is much more easy to see because it shows you what is more voted and what is least voted.So what i think is easier to read and show to a meeting or a class about a project is the Bar chart.

Today i have finally finished my blog post about our experiment called the POP test in this experiment we only used 7 objects or Tools and our tools were Safety Glasses,hydrochloric acid,2 Test tubes,Fire,magnesium metal,Becker,

And We also had to use Titles threw out this experiment like,Aim,Hypothesis,Equipment,Steps,and also the Conclusion.after all of this i made this story.

Hypothesis:My Hypothesis is what i think that was going to happen.What i thought what was going to happen was once i put it next the test tube next to the fire i thought the bottom of the test tube was going to crack after the pop. 

Equipment:Safety Glasses,hydrochloric acid,2 Test tubes,Fire,magnesium metal,Becker

Steps:Put on your Safety Glasses on first.Then drop one piece of magnesium metal into the first test tube.Once done that Pore the hydrochloric acid into the tube just over the magnesium.Then Quickly grab the other test tube over the one with the acid inside.Then put your 2 test tubes into the beaker.Then wait about 1 to 2 minutes latter the lite the fire take the top tube off then put the fire next to the inside of the acid then POP!!!.     

Conclusion:Once the Experiment was done all of a sudden a loud POP!!! happened  and i got a huge fright.And the stem from the acid created Water.This experiment is the coolest and you should try it.

I am doing another reading topic but this time i have moved up two blue level 4 the max.In this story there are two boys that have been past primary,and intermediate together.But in there last year of intermediate they were doing something off all summer the would go to a jetty and find a kid that was new to kayaking  and Benny would be the boomer and the writer would be the person that would go down help the kid back in to the Kayak and apologise. Most of the time family would buy him a ice block.There record was six in one day till the man who owned the kayaks threatened to call the police.Here are the answers that this topic has given me.

• Benny likes rugby,The writer would prefer league.Also the writer would rather watch and Benny would rather play. 
• The writer feels board because Benny used to live right across the street but now he has to spend money for the bus to get to Bennys house.
• I think the boys mother was very terrified,angry,overwhelmed.And super angry at Benny and gave him an earful.
• I do not know what the authors of this book has purposed.But maybe there talking to us about not trying to scam other people because you do not know what could happen.
• The story is basted on being good

We have been doing this task for about 2 weeks including today.So what we have done is we read 2 different books one was about the Rakaia Gorge located at 609 Rikaia Gorge Road,Windwhisle 7572.And also one about a Taniwha But in that story there was a huge storm but they called him the North west wind.So i picked the Taniwha story.But insted of the Taniwha i picked the EELS that helped the Taniwha Build the Gorge.and as you see at the top of this blog there is the work i have been working on for the EEl topic.
